Speak Faithfulness

Gives voice to the belonging, healing and wholeness of all God’s children. This weekly podcast exists to speak aloud the faithfulness of God by resting in Scripture and sharing the testimony of Christ revealed through us, His children, both now and in the past. We are opening our mouth for those unable to speak (Proverbs 31:8).

You Belong

In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14, ESV)

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15, ESV)

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, ESV)

If we are faithless, he remains faithful – for he cannot deny himself. (2 Timothy 2:13, ESV)

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ … Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. (1 Corinthians 12: 12, 27, ESV)

And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us the wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, (1 Corinthians 1: 30, ESV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is a gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2: 8 – 9, ESV)

You are Healed

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24, ESV)

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5, NIV)

But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (Romans 8:10, ESV)

The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:2-3)

The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed. (Psalm 103:11, ESV)

The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. (Psalm 146:8, NIV)

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5: 1 – 2, NIV)

You are Whole

For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled with him, who is the head of all rule and authority. (Colossians 2: 9 – 10, ESV)

I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge – even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you – so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1: 4-9, ESV)

. . . everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross. (Colossians 1: 18 – 20, MSG)

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Philippians 4: 6 – 7, MSG)

In him you also are being built into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. (Ephesians 2: 22 ESV)

Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

PROVERBS 30:5 (NIV)

Isaiah 61:11 AMP

For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord God will [most certainly] cause righteousness and justice and praise
To spring up before all the nations [through the power of His word].
